23 sexual partners is not too much these days. It's —disgracefully, in my opinion— just as normal as sex since you are 14.

The question to consider, though, are not STD/STI for me, but why you are being sexually active if you don't have money to be a mother or he to raise a child if you get pregnant.

In my experience as a teacher (for 10 years I taught English in elementary school, high school and a language college here in Peru), most of the times, young people get into sex because they are feeling too lonely at home and they need a way to cheer up their lives.

Does it matter if it's a lot, Babydoll? I think you know it is, and you also know that he's likely to have herpes, and to have given it to you already. I think you know your own sexual history is pretty objectionable as well, but not nearly as upsetting as your cavalier attitude toward sex. It's your vagina. we've been together just over a year now.. i made him wait 6 months before i decided i wanted to have sex with him.. it may not be 'morally' right for you.. seeing as he's 20 and i'm 16.. but i guess when you like someone.. hey.. i don't exactly look 16 either if i'm quite honest.
on another note.. no he did not give me herpes lol. i caught it from kissing my grandma goodbye over the years.. she gets cold sores.. i had it before i met him. they only flare up though either if you're menstruating, under physical or emotional stress or have flu like symptoms. mine have flared up recently because i've had all four of those things LOL.

lots of people are sexually active now at a younger age.. it's just how society is.. whether it's a good thing or a bad thing is a different matter.
i guess i have some sort of self respect though.. i couldn't bring myself to have sex with someone i wasn't sure about.. someone i didn't know very well.. or someone i wouldn't like enough to father my children.
i am by no means looking to be a mother any time in the near future lol. hence pills plus condoms are used by my boyfriend and i. i already told him ages ago i wouldn't have sex with him without a condom until he gets checked out so meh. until then.. it's double contraception trouble.
i'm not the kind of person who's looking to settle down nice and early.. i've done my gcses.. and i'm doing 5 a levels now and applying for oxbridge. i'm not a stupid girl who has nothing better to do with her time than have sex lol. i teach karate three times a week, work twice a week and go to college five days a week, on top of mentoring two children and being secretary of a charity committee. That's without the hours of my free time I spend surfing. I don't have that much time for sex lol.. even though i have had it lol.

so what you're saying is the guy started having sex at 14. i will assume that more of his partners were when he was older, otherwise it averages out to 4 people per year. it probably didn't go like that so i'll use some logarithm theory. let's say he had one partner when he was 14. perhaps 15 was a little slower and he didn't sleep with anybody. but then when he was 16, maybe he pulled in 2 or 3.

so that would put his other 19 or so partners in those last 3 years. that would mean he had to sleep with at least six people per year. you could call me cynical and move the number down to 5 per year and say he did it more when he was 15, frankly i don't see a 15 year old being able to rank in those kinds of numbers.

okay, 6 partners per year at least, would mean one partner every couple of months.

i say he's either lying, or he was sexually abused as a child. a 14 year old is a child, by the way.

LOL no i live in an 8 bedroomed house which i share with my parents, brother and grandmother next to the beach >.< his is only 5 bedroomed though and in the valley. uh yeah i did most of my dirty business between the ages of 14 and 15.. the whole time i've been 16 i've been with my current boyfriend.
i was talking about it the other day with him and he did most of it when he was 17.. hes been with me most of the time he was 19.. and the whole time now he's been 20.. and he had a girlfriend about 6 months before me for a year too so.. between those times he's been relatively calm. but meh owel. don't matter i guess.
