    bowflex...

so i always see the commercials how it's only like 40 bucks a month so i went to the website and it comes out to about 3000 for the entire deal. ok, a price that i probably would spend if i had an extra g lying around.

however, the dimensions... the thing is pretty huge considering that i would like to put the compact version in my room. it would take most of my room, only leaving enough space for my computer. i would also have to get rid of my bed and sleep on the machine, or the ground haha.

just a little rant i'd thought i'd share.

If you only had an extra "g" laying around, wouldn't you still be in debt if you ordered one of these?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Just get a bench and some weights. They'll take up far less space. Cheaper, too.

From what I recall being with Iron and talking to him about those machines, they work initially, but because theyre not actual weights involved and spring like you can only go so far and the results will cease after some time. Personally Raver for 3 grand thats a shitload of moola, sure its convient but join the gym for 6 months or a yr. Its a way to get out of the house too and meet people!

that thing will probably end up being a closet for your clothes after 6 months too!
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.

haha i dunno if i ever mentioned it before, but i've had a 24 membership for the past 5 or so years. out of all my friends that joined, i'm the only one that still goes.. shit, being that i work in downtown, conveniently there's a 24 there and i usually will spend my lunch breaks at the gym.

this is just something that i wanted for those lazy weekends when i didn't want to drive to the gym or if my friends wanted to lift then i'd have a spot.

i also agree that there's nothing like working out at the gym. having people around you mentally pushes you harder, especially when the hot chick walks by. you feel stronger.

then i say go for it since you got that membership. the bowflex is versatile and i think is good for what you're asking for then.
