Ghostbusters Videogame Announced!

I've been a ghostbuster fan since I can remember.

Finally it looks like they're making a worthwhile game!

I also just got the new Gameinformer magazine which did an article on it and Dan Aykroyd claims that this game would replace what would've been a movie sequel.

When I saw that trailer I nearly busted a nut. I admit it, I'm a total 80's nerd. Ghostbusters is probably my most favorite childhood movie. You can bet your ass I'll be preordering that sucker.

My friends have been speculating that you get to play as Louis Tully, Rick Moranis' character. As big a dweeb as Rick Moranis may be, I can't think of a more suitable greenhorn I'd like to play as.

I know it's old news, I heard about this game way before it was officially announced, did ya see some of the concept art they put out early this year?



Anyway, I was reading up on it all today and figured I'd post about it. There's few things I get so excited over.

That's for a different Ghostbusters game that's now defunct. Be thankful. That game would have been trash. From the concept art alone you can see that they've completely missed what made the Ghostbusters special. Ghostbusters aren't slick. They don't drive a nice car, tote badass weaponry, or look like hardened soldiers.

They're like the insect exterminator who pulls up to your house in a van with a giant roach on top. There's nothing slick about them.
