2 nights ago I was sitting on my computer talking to some friends on msn messenger. Then I get a random message that says "hey". I replied "who is this?" turns out is a girl I had a class with back in high school over 2.5 years ago. We talked some just friendly for a few months back then and then we both ended up getting into seperate relationships. Well her and her exboyfriend broke up a awhile back as did me and my exgirlfriend. I figure it is getting around town that I am single because one of the first things she asked me was if I was still with my ex. It has been about 2.5 years since I had last talked to her. I am in my second year of college and she graduates this year so I didn't see her anymore at school after that one class. Just wondering if she might like me since we got along so well in the past. I know its been such a long time so it has me wondering. I think I will try and get to know her alittle better and ask her on a date sometime. I am just wondering if it is just a coincidence or if she likes me maybe. Just looking for someone elses view on this since it seemed to random to me.

My experience has been that girls who contact you out of the blue after several years are looking for a temporary relationship until the ex or some other prospect comes around.

She told me the reason why she never talked to me or any other guys was because he exboyfriend was not trusting and would not let her talk to other guys. She said that she is glad she is out of the relationship with him because of the fact that he did not trust her to even talk to other guys much less be around them. I am guessing that she broke up with him. Also I do not know how long they have been broken up. I don't know if this changes anything or not. Just info that she told me. I will see what happens and definately take things slow for awhile.
