Alright, here's the deal.

To tell the truth, I didn't feel like typing all of this out. I was hoping people would just take my word for it, that me and Amy have mutually agreed to not have intercourse. However, it seems that people still have their doubts and are still prodding me about this shit.

Anyway, so the day after I posted this thread, me and Amy met up and went out to get some dinner. While I was in her truck, she awkwardly (as she usually does), brought up what had been discussed the night before. She wanted to clarify, that she in fact was not ready for sex yet, because of our situation.

(I'd like to see any of you handle a pregnancy when you're virtually jobless and/or homeless.)

She said she simply brought it up because I had never specified when I would be in a comfortable position to have sex, and when I said (rather offhandedly) that I'd just wait till marriage...which probably wouldn't be for another decade, anyway, it just surprised her.

So there I was. Feeling foolish and angry.

For 2 reasons.

1.) It took me a day to wrap my head around the prospect of having sex before I wanted to. With the coercion of the forum members and Natalie, I set aside something I felt strongly about as a means to satiate what I thought was my girlfriend's unforgiving lust. Yes, I would be willing to f*ck her just for the sake of doing so, and for the relationship. (She got angry at me for saying this)

2.) This is actually a good thing. I'm sure some of you (Vash, Misombra) recall my Valentine's day outburst. After that had all been resolved, I told Amy that I would try not to feed that kind of behavior again. After all, I know how destructive it can be, I'm never not conscious of it. But it's almost like a lust in itself, and I it feels good to just let go...and be emotionally abusive.

I wanted so badly to defy the hell out of you guys because the lot of you were trying to persuade me into doing something I really didn't want to do. Thing is, because I can't really take out that shit on you guys, I start to feel resentful towards Amy, for things she's not even saying, and knows nothing about. I can be bullheaded. I enjoy pushing back and breaking people down when they challenge me.

But I told her I was gonna try not to be like that. And so I didn't. Though, for entirely the wrong reasons...

No, there isn't anything else that isn't being said.

No, Amy isn't going to break up with me over this, because there is no this. She wasn't even going to, to begin with. She apologized for not being clear, and making it seem like something it wasn't.

Our physical intimacy is as healthy as it's been. We messed around all weekend. She was gonna give me 20 bucks for playing DDR naked.
