Do you truely get over a person?

The title pretty much explains my question. I'm just wondering if you truely ever move on from someone you loved? Its been almost a year now, and I still cant even feel "that way" about a female.

Its almost like I dont want to let go. Have you guys ever been in this kind of situation?

No, I do not think that you ever get over a person you fully loved unconditionally. However, you will eventually have strong loving feelings toward another person and "get over" wanting to be with the old one. You will never forget, but that's okay. Life is an adventure--live it.
