Vacation....the last "official" vacation I took was to Disneyworld with my ex-husband for our daughter's eighth birthday. The weird part was that we had made the arrangements before we split up but were divorced by the time the trip happened, but since he was still living in the same house, taking a vacation together wasn't weirder than everyday life.

That whole six month period between splitting up and him actually moving out was beyond bizarre. I don't know how I would have gotten through it without Loveforum.

i'm traveling to colorado next weekend to see (close your eyes giga) a raggae concert at red rocks.

i don't really like raggae but my friends want to go and it's tradition to go up and visit a friend every august.

on our way back we're gonna hit up durango, pagosa springs, taos, etc...

Back to the monkeys... one of those little organ grinder monkeys attacked my son when he (my son) was a baby. Yeah, they are viscious little boogers.

As for my most recent trip, I got TWO parking tickets at one time totalling $75 on the campus of UC Merced, where we stopped so my daughter and her friend could have a look. It is probably safe to say we won't be paying any tuition to THAT school! :angry:

Campus police. Aka 'Parking Nazis'. Its the same everywhere, Vash. Even staff & faculty get dinged. You're not being selectively repressed. I think their mommies left them out in the cold overnight as babies.

I actually have a line item in my accounting software for our yearly tickets.

I got a ticket last semester and we threw it out. Then they sent me a reminder in the mail that I tore up. So they finally charged it to my bursar
