How did you know that you had found the one?

Was it an immediate feeling, i.e. "love at first sight," or was it a gradual realization? Was there a specific moment or instance that you knew or did you just wake up one day and realize that he or she was the one for you?

They will almost immediately 'act' like the one. They will immediately feel much more than a bf/gf (although you will continue to be/act as bf/gf until much later in time but you will almost immediately see and KNOW they are more than that because of the way they act.)
