I am very surprised that there is nobody on the site who has tried this as an alternative to divorce.

Even if you did move to Europe, chances are you may not find out just how many people have open relationships. I seriously doubt it's the kind of thing that people are that up front about in everyday life, in Europe or the States for that matter. In a study, the folks are anonymous and therefore more likely to give an honest answer (at least that's the thinking behind it).

If I were in an open relationship would I tell everyone at work? Probably not, because I'd be gossip fodder for the rest of my career. No offense, Sands.

ye i know, i find her very witty sometimes, she's great...my fav of hers is when she said this forum was run by the pharma companies but this thread got out of hand because she wasn't so lighthearted last night
