I enjoy the occasional beer... or six. Sometimes I'll just sit down and sip a bottle of Riesling for a night... maybe a nice glass of wine/champaigne for the special occasions.

That other stuff though, **** that. I've had my share of Столичная and Jägermeister. No more Captain Morgan or Tequila for me, either. No thanks. I start my car with it.

Anytime I ask for a shot of crown, it's never in a little shot, it's like one of those vodka glasses or whatever, the short fat glasses. So it's like 3 shots.

Anyway, 2 of those glasses will have me all in a doozey.

I never drink spirits, they just aren't that enjoyable to drink. Beer, however, I love drinking, so, so, much, and I love what remains of pub culture.
I literally cannot comprehend people who aren't interested in drinking, or don't drink anything other than spirit+mixer or some shitty lager when there's so much great stuff out there.

I'm a terrible snob, I work in a bar and judge people so much from what they choose to drink. If someone buys an alcopop, I really want to refuse to serve them on account of shit taste in drinks, and it's acceptable for girls but my patience is tested with guys who drink vodka cokes rather than a proper pint. The only acceptable drinks are straight whisky (or on the rocks), any bitter, any real ale, wheat beer, lager only if there's belgian or other quality European lagers (so no heineken, fosters, carlsberg, carling, budweiser, becks) cider is largely acceptable as long as it isn't Magners but highly commendable if it's a real cider, and stouts like Guinness are always good.

Rum is good. Pure. You get that dry bitterness and it wakes you up. And it is sweet at the same time. If I just want to enjoy some good aromas or taste, I drink juice or something. For me, alcohol is nothing more than getting drunk. Yes, alcohol for its taste is overrated.

Don't do meth tho, it can **** you up. DMT once in a while will do. Or shrooms.


Oh, and what are those beer pictures? What, this is some kind of snob shit. Beer is not whine to drink from a glass, and so small bottle, wtf? And I like that Erdinger glass, its tall, plus they edited lots of foam on top to give you impression of large amount of beer. In fact, its very narrow in the middle...
I drank Guiness one day and I didn't like it.

I haven't tasted all the so called quality beers, but Edelweiss was good. I still prefer local beer though.

Oh, DM, can you send me some DMT? Dogs will not sniff it. Its hard to find here. Its even hard to extract by your own because certain components needed for good extraction are also a rarity in this shithole.

Ok, I realize that Becks is like the "American" (=crappy) German beer, and tastes like water/pee in comparison to good German lagers, but I have a soft spot for it - considering I lived in "Becks Town" Bremen for a year and basically learned to like beer by drinking the stuff.

Anyway, I can't lie, I'm a rum-and-coke, tequila-sunrise, mix-it-with-something-sweet kind of drinker... Although last night I did indulge in my great love for tequila shots
