Actually it is easier than riding a bike a 0 because there is less dirt you have to worry about.

I've hit +45mph...going downhill of course, haha.

I'm spoiled here with this weather, I hate riding when it's cold (~40 F) in the mornings. I'm thinking of buying a trainer so I can ride indoors. I know, 40F isn't even a high in your area is it?

What kind of bike to your ride? I'm debating whether or not to get a Honda CBR600RR in a couple of years. I've ridden a couple of times and I'm confident in my abilities, though I need to take some classes if I decide to get more serious. But the fact of the matter is that other drivers just scare the shit outta me.
