I liked the older Transformer's better - I watched a little Beast Wars but it just wasn't the same. (Or maybe me being older - I wasn't the same.)

    Anyone remember Thundercats? He-man?

I think the care bears movie made me cry when I was little. If memory serves me, wasn't there a little kid who runs away from home because he feels really bad about something? That was so sad.

Hey..don't tell anyone, but I also used to see the girly cartoons: My Little Pony and Lady Lovely Locks. I'd never have admitted it to my friends at the time, ha ha. It's like country music. A lot of people don't admit to liking it, but you can't really hate it like you say you do. EVERYONE loves the Oasis!

    You don't?? Quit lying.

    Freddie,

Since you have opened up and bared your soul - I will bare mine as well. I used to collect My Little Ponies - I had all of them. The funny thing is I never really played with them - I just arranged and rearranged them. I do remember seeing a My Little Pony movie at some point.

However, I recall not having warm fuzzy feelings over the care bear movies - I just remember that someone was going to die unless a whole lot of caring happened!

    I CARE! I CARE! I CARE! I CARE!

It's funny..I remember a lot of bits and pieces of stuff when I was very young. Stuff that surprises my parents and older sister. I guess stuff from when I was 2,3,4 years old. I was born in L.A. and lived there till I was 5. My younger sister spent years 1-about 4 or 3 in Chihuahua and she has no recollection of the place, while I remember a lot from L.A.

Can you think of what your earliest memories were and about how old you were??

    WOW - Impressive!

I remember flashes of things at an early stage, but they aren't really concrete memories. Like I remember the pepper bush outside the house, getting bitten by the dog for "playing in his food" (I must've been 4 or 5) I remember hoping my little sister was going to be a puppy (we were adopted so I knew that Dad was going to get me a sister - I wanted a furry one!) I remember alot from kindergarden, and vividly remember breaking my collarbone. However everything before 5 or 6 is just a flashes of things.

Well, it's flashes for me too, but I guess some people have absolutely NO recollection of anything beyond 1st grade. Kindergarten I remember pretty good.

Was the dog attack bad? Were you traumatized by it? I couldn't judge by you wanting a puppy as a sister since I don't know if that was before or after.

I wanted a puppy after the dog bite - it wasn't too bad and I realized that he bit me because I was in his food and I shouldn't have been. (My parents were always telling me no anytime I was in the general vicinity of the dog bowl.)

Good. I hate when one bad experience sours people against something that they could really miss out on.

blue- wasn't the girl version of he-man, she ra?? the princess of power??

and GBR, i think the transformers are made by different people now. it's more of a japanese trend. they are drawn differently. also i haven't watched the cartoon in a while but i know that is has changed a lot. they were what?? first automobiles, then insects, then animals..i can't keep up with this anymore. raverboy
...this is just my perspective on the situation...
