I don't know if this has been asked already. Should women wear lipcolor or not? I have thick lips. Everytime I wear lipstick, it looks a little too artificial and bold.

Has anyone else ever noticed that designer/the more expensive clothes actually fit MUCH better, i've tried on clothes from walmart/k-mart/freddies and such...but the fit is just awkward. Both my sister and i have and we think the same thing, we have very different body types. My sister has a butt and pretty big hooters but still skinny(not stick skinny), i'm VERY pettite and skinny, don't have huge boobs or a huge ass. I'm 5'1" and basically am proportioned to my height. Anyway but the clothes at those places don't seem to fit right, i even went to walmart today and the prices just seemed kinda ridiculous..i saw these leggings for 9 dollars and peacoats for 30, that's pretty cheap actually BUT i know nordstrom's has really nice quality leggings for only 11 dollars and forever 21 has tons of fitted stylish peacoats from 30-35 dollars, see? i don't know why people shop at those stores.
Oh and Dharm, what kind of nail polish colors would u suggest for this season? my nails are a very dark cherry red right now, opi polish. It's definitely different from what i'm used to, i'm usually more into the subtle colors and not so bold. But i guess i need some changes, i recently cut my hair very short too, into an a-line bob.
when i pick clothes, the most important thing for me is that it fits well and feels comfortable. and it just has to have a nice feel against my skin. I am a strong believer in comfort. if i am going to spend money on something, then it will definitely be on comfort, because we spend almost our entire lives in clothes, so why be uncomfortable? that is my philosophy on that.
as far as brands go, i am all about 'lucky brand'. especially their t-shirts. i'm not sure what fashion gurus think of this brand, but for me, it fits my body like a glove, and the material they use to make their clothes feels great.
That's rubbish, women already spend too much time on their appearance-maybe a select group of fashionista New Yorkers care a lot about how fashionable a girl is, but I really don't think most men care too much. We care about what a woman looks like naturally, and for me like most men when our girlfriends make a fuss about their appearance it is nothing more than an annoyance.
And frankly, I think it's incredibly arrogant to say any man who wants an "average" girl just can't do better. I've been out with those high maintenance girls been out with have, in the long run, turned out to be pathetically narcissistic, petty, and deeply, deeply, insecure and I can't be bothered with that.
I'd much rather go out with a girl who looks good, yet isn't going to spend hours getting ready and have a breakdown if the rain messes up their hair-that's just annoying. I'm interested in taking care of my appearance and looking presentable, but I am not interested in fashion and I'd rather go for a girl who is intelligent, independant, secure in herself, and shares a similar outlook on life to me.
Give fashion tips by all means, that's cool, but be a little more open minded. Fashion may be important in your life, but it isn't in everyone's and it's really unpleanst of you to insult people as "beta" who aren't interested in fashion.
On a friendlier note, I know nothing about fashion so maybe you could give me some tips. I have that sort of combination of light brown hair and pale skin which is always guaranteed to stay pale or burn, never tan. What sort of colours complement that sort of complexion? Cos I really have no idea.
