Here's my preferred passport, Lesa:
It wasn't quite like that, there were many reasons. Family and lifestyle concerns was one, juggling two careers was another. But yes, when thinking about this kind of thing, one needs to decide whether you are part of the problem or the solution. Most ppl want to be part of the solution, I think, but sometimes have trouble figuring out how to get there. I had options, not everyone is as lucky.

Yes, most people don't know how to truly be a part of the solution. However, a large number of people are just fine living inside their little box. They go to work, come home, eat their dinner, watch some TV, and maybe do some recreational activities. They will sit on their couch and watch the news and just spout off about how the country is run or how bad the President is. But do they do anything to make a difference? No. They continue to do what they do every day.
It's those people that I wish would just leave. If you don't like it here and don't want to be a part of the solution, then just leave and go somewhere else. Personally, I want to be a part of the solution. I know that I love my country. That's partly why I changed my majors. I do love law and I'm fascinated with politics. After careful thinking, I no longer had to wonder if I was making the right decision. I knew that I was.
I also want to mention that I respect those that are willing to go outside of their comfort zone to help others. This is mainly directed at Frasbee and his gf. I think it's great that you guys helped out during those natural disasters.
I don't chase, I replace.
What are you talking about, is killing chickens on an elevator illegal? because you just changed the species and that changes everything. Indi, switch off the female logic when talking to me and turn the scientist one on please. Killing humans in an elevator is not legal, and neither is killing humans.
Help improve it? with what power?
If you miss I will strap you to a chair and kill your own children in front of you. Than take a shit on your lawn. This country sells peace and comfortable on the logical bases of a hamster cage, this isn't life in this coutnry going to home and sitting around...**** that.. it reminds me of a hamster...specially when I drive past the fitness clubs and watch people running around a hamster wheel...I mean tread mill...before they retire to their home..corner of the cage..and go shopping for food at a grocery store...also known as the little bucket that holds the seeds for the hamster. They can use streets of course to get there...tubes for the hamster to keep it amused.
I should, I should leave this shit hole. Maybe they got some work for a biologist over there.
........and?

By generating wealth through industry and not being a service sector parasite. That's how you can help if you really want to OV. Make money for yourself and at the same time create jobs
Or, like Cain said, you can move off to some insignificant country like Canada
Canada is bad ass. I would totally move there. Your solution is sound, abuse stupidity of this country for my own benefit rather than the people's ....the basics this country was built on of course.. and make myself wealthy. So I can what? Buy a better car than you? **** that...I just want a peaceful life and when I walk out I want to see a great view and not trucks, trains, and ****ing homo fagot buses filled with McDonald employees.

Canada is bad ass? Is that what you call a country that buys every piece of its military hardware, from missiles to artillery and warplanes to tanks, from another country (the US)?
And Americans aren't as dumb as you make them out to be. Canada is just a more British form of the US with a weaker work ethic, while the US can be looked at as the more German form of Canada
You've probably used a shitload of American stuff today. Your computer hardware was almost surely American designed, and so was your operating system I bet. How about your web browser? Or the internet? Or how about your favorite games like Half-Life you have installed on your computer? Isn't that American too?

Best Countries in the World to Live.
1. Iceland
2. Norway
3. Australia
4. Canada
5. Ireland
US ranks 12th.
BTW, I don't mind Australia ranking above Canada. I've lived there for a short time, and it is pretty awesome. First two are freezing cold, and Iceland's economy has just gone tits up worse than US, so I expect Canada & Oz will rank even higher next year.

why, you people have jacked Nisha's thread again?
