I was thinking about it today when I was walking, and I thought maybe these towns were in remote areas with limited roadways leading out? It's just hard to imagine so many dead people. Is there some sort of warning system in place? Did these people opt to try to save their homes?

It's a hell of a shame, they have caught one arsenist though whose fire killed 21 people and he's facing 25 years in prison. Well I live in SE QLD and we are getting floods, Australia is in a crisis atm!

I hear you guys are running over crocs in the street and then taking them to the vet for treatment? LOL.
And apparently its Open Season on humans nr. Sydney. Been a bumper crop year for the sharks this year too. Yikes.
I'll say this for you aussies, you get weather. That's for sure.Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
