This sucks.

Well, there's the supermarket that'll pay 9 an hour.
I just dropped an application off at a residential do-it-all company.
I talked to a pool construction company that wants me to come in and fill out an application tomorrow morning.
A part time building maintenance/janitorial position wants an interview for next Tuesday.
But it's the pool construction that gets me. That's what I did in Oklahoma, and I hated it. Not because of the work, but because of the foreman. Such assholes, and I started to have these like, flash backs thinking about how utterly miserable I was out there working for them.
So miserable that I feel like there's a rain cloud over my head.
keep optimistic and prep for the interviews, that should keep you busy, you're maniac enjoy the time off while you have it, and stay positive![]()

Before taking the supermarket job look into banks and hotels. A bank will start you out at around 10 bucks an hour to sit at a computer and do virtually nothing all day, thus leaving you plenty of time to search the web for better jobs. A hotel front desk job puts you in roughly the same position, except you can wrangle 12 bucks an hour out of 'em.
Those were my favorite jobs during college. I was basically paid to study and do homework. Why not get paid to find better work?

how about resident apartment manager? some building maintenance, home most of the time, free rent.

My uncle does that. He lives in the heart of DC in a $500,000 condo he doesn't pay a dime for and rakes in a boatload of cash on top of that.
You'd need experience first, though. He started out as a building engineer.

Fras has experience in a field that is most relevant to this job though.

That's what's tricky nowadays, you almost have to be a jack of all trades, really flexible and adapt to new jobs and situations.
It is still a little jarring.
Electrical experience don't mean shit to a guy that's pouring and paving concrete.
lie on your resume as much as possible, if you need help with it, i can assist you.

I'm bad at lying.
