Oh... quite true. I find it quite funny when some of our Caucasian teachers try to pronounce a few of my classmates' names. They apparently do not have that much of a problem with my name though. My name is a Cantonese name, and having been in Singapore for some time, they have encountered all 3 words in my name before. Even if they just guess the pronunciation they would probably not be that far off
