    I'm annoyed by people who have social picnics at the desk of my co-worker who's desk is close to me. They come and they won't go away. Standing there for an hour gossiping about.

    My co-worker is great and she is very social, but because of her empathy people from all over the organization flock to her on a vent pilgrimage and just won't leave.

    Earbuds and trance music are your friend? Plus, it will signal to the slightly more observant that you are trying to work.

    Porn noises are something I usually forego, because I can't use the speakers (suitemates and people in the hall would hear) and if I use earbuds I wouldn't hear my roommate coming back and he would walk in on me jerking off
