    a new question , what is "stud"?

    what does it mean exactly?

    It can mean a male animal usually a stallion (male horse) or a man that is regarded as virile and or or attractive.

    or it can be the little peice they give you when you first pierce something, they throw the stud in there to keep the hole open instead of some fancy smanshy ring or something.

    Or a cross piece of 2 x 4 in a building.

    For example, when you put a nail in the wall, you look for a "stud" (to make it easier you can buy an electric "stud finder" you can buy at a store, or simply by knocking on the wall and waiting for the hollow sound to go away.

    Ah - I should stop putting those things there - I kinda do it in alot of posts... I never thought that it might confuse someone like that - very simple mistake. hehe
