What to do about this?
It began with a really trivial matter. I was looking through my boyfriend's texts and I found one he had sent to his male roommate saying "Lol yeah I wanted to **** her b4". I confronted him and he said it was before, in high school, blah blah. I let it go because my friend reasoned that guys just talk like that.
But then I tried to find the text that prompted that one and none of the texts sent before that had anything to do with it, which led me to believe that he must have deleted it. Then he said it was the phone's auto-delete, but the text was neither at the beginning nor at the end, where auto-deletion occurs on any phone. Then he just said he couldn't remember.
The way he reacted to it was so characteristic of someone who's lying: the joking around, trying to change the subject, the excuses he gave, and then getting exaggeratedly angry out of nowhere. My friend said that he probably deleted it so that I wouldn't get angry, which should be a good thing.
What I'm pissed off about is why he'd evoke all this drama just to avoid answering such a supposedly benign question! Also, if he'd lie about something so small, then how can I trust him down the line?
PS: I was crying throughout because I am a pansy.
PSS: Perhaps I should add that whatever time he's not working he spends with me, and that he calls me at least 7 times a day and we've been together for about a year and some months... and that I always cry about everything and throw tantrums.

This is very simple.
Do you trust him?
No = Break up
Yes = Stop worrying.
