On the second thought, I understand how it can be difficult
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame

That isn't it by a long shot. She isn't just very pretty, but also very friendly with the people around her and very smart. She also is probably more conservative than most girls my age. I'm very sure she is Middle Eastern, I don't know if she is Muslim, but either way probably more conservative than most other girls here and she probably wouldn't have all those social demands more liberal girls have

I have lab again tomorrow btw

I kind of bumped into the girl today at lab, she smiled and laughed a little and I said sorry

As someone who was just as scared as you were...I've been working on it and I've changed a lot. I know how hard it is initially. As much as I previously claimed Neo to be a douche (still kind of is), he's right. It's kind of weird, now that I've got a girlfriend I see things on a whole different plane. I've found myself approaching and harmlessly flirting with other girls. The way I see it now is that I have a girlfriend, and I'm just befriending them. Not really hitting on them, just having fun and practicing.

I know how hard it is to initially approach and start talking with someone. But once you get the hang of it, it really is easy. She laughed, she smiled, how much more do you need? Do you want her to write it in big bold letters on a poster board for you that she's interested? Better move in now before someone else asks her out before you. For someone in class I've personally found that talking about homework is a nice and easy way to not come off as creepy. Talk about a problem, how they did it, ones they had trouble with. From there introduce yourself then start talking about something else. Yesterday I was at a soccer thing and I had my camera, there was this really cute girl there with a nice camera as well and I kind of just moved in and started talking to her about cameras. After talking for her for a bit I could have easily asked her out.

In your case after talking to her for a bit, maybe at the end of the class ask her if she'd like to get a drink or have lunch, if she says yes...ask for her number. It could be something simple, maybe something on campus in between class(if your campus has places to eat/drink).
