My wife got her visa!

So, last Friday, we went to her doctor's appointment and the doctor said that the baby looks to be due earlier than expected (May 4) ... So, any friggin' day now!

I'm real thankful that the baby shower was a hit ... we're pretty much set with equipment ... but as we all know with life, you can't ever be "too prepared."

And as I wait for baby Mariel to be born, I'm still wrapping up my last month or so at SFSU and still working for the same elementary school. I can only pray that the job market goes easy on me and the wife in the coming months ...

Just thought I'd give a bit of an update ...

That's so exciting, shorty! Be sure to get lots of sleep now, in case Mariel isn't much of a sleeper! (Lovely name, by the way!) Pretty soon, you'll barely be able to remember her not being there....
