Definitly need help before it's to late

Alright I will make it short...I met a wonderful girl and I went through the motions ya know introducing myself getting her number blah blah. She seems like shes kinda into me a little flirty but she already has a thing with another guy. Awful timing for me she never had a chance to decide if I was better then him. I do not want to give up though, How can I pursue her further before her "thing" becomes a "relationship"?

It all depends on how long she has had this "thing" with said other guy. If it's just a few days, ask her out on a date and see what she says. If it's been longer, and it seems that she is already involved with that guy, just wait it out, and when you get your opportunity, take it! Write her a romantic letter, or send her some flowers.
