Dreams, fantasies, and alternate realities aside: the most logical and succesful way to ask a girl out is to just do it, and no flowers and that kinda shit. Women have to be comfortable around you, not freaked out by you coming on too strong, or weirded out that you would be so romantic/affectionate so quickly, which they don't consider a good trait.

Leave romance for when you've actually established a relationship.

I think the most romantic way I've done it was telling my friend to tell her friend that I like her and wanted to bring her to the upcoming dance. She in turn told her friend yes who told my friend yes who told me. So we met outside the dance and entered together. And left our separate ways afterwards.

If THAT doesn't get your heart pumping, I don't know what will.

PS - Getting asked out isn't really the most 'romantic' part. If you are looking for old-school romance, look for proposals.

"i think we should take it a step further"
"Alright."

and then we're going out...?....


3 times that's happened.

and then the gayest way was:

"i see your ring finger is bared.."

to ask me out..the guy said this..uhm...


alright so..the most romantic way is not to just get it over with..because then it's not memorable and it's like you dont care. So the best way to go is go up to her, and tell her how much you care about her and everything. tell her you'll make her happy and all that good stuff, then plant a quick one!
