    Nervousness

Me and my girlfriend, both 13, have a hard time keeping touch. Her parents don't know anything, because she doesn't want that famous "talk". She acts sort of indifferent around me and likes to laugh at my lame jokes. Is that a sign of nervousness? We both love each other very much, but we never hugged. We're always surrounded by other students and I don't have the guts to ask her for a hug. What do I do? I don't want to stay like this!

It's not that I want help; it's if she's nervous around me.

If she thinks you are pushing for a level of intimacy she isn't ready for, she may indeed be nervous. I think the fact that neither of you have overcome your shyness is indicative that you aren't ready for anything more, and really - what's the rush? You are both very young. There isn't any reason in the world why either of you should be ready.
