my ex started talking to me again :(

background info: got together with her, broke up because of distance, cut all contact for a while, started talking to her again, she was suicidal, made her feel better, stopped talking to her....

and just yesterday i got a e-mail from her. we started talking again and shes giving huge hints that she wants to get back together.

    Pros-
    -happiness, laughs, smiling

    with that there comes

    Cons-
    -depression
    -pain

at the time when i wasnt talking to her i felt none of those (pros and cons included). we tried being just friends before but that didnt work. we kept on falling for eachother. the reason we broke up was because of distance, since we couldnt see eachother we were basically torturing eachother. i admit i miss her but i keep on questioning is it really worth it. any ideas?

    Well, has the distance changed?

Realistically, you can like her all you want-- but if the main cause of the breakup hasn't changed.. it's just going to be an issue again.

No one should make you feel depression from that far away.

    Trust your gut feelings.

You feel depressed when you're in contact with her. How come? What does that tell you?

who initiated the no contact? also who initiated the break-up? I am assuming you on both. How long has it been since the break-up and since the last time you spoke before this?

I really think distance is not a reason to break up at all. 2 of my best friends have done long distance for 4+ years and they are both happily engaged. There are ways to make it work. Now if she is making you depressed most of the time and it's not just being sad you can't see her then yes I wouldn't pursue it further. But how long would it be until you could be together?

if distance is the problem could either one of you change it ie one of you move closer or both meet half way

I met a girl in Brazi who went to live in Honk Kong...I met her there twice, we were good together..if there is depression, let she goes..distance is hard, if u r not good together, pass over her...good luck man!
