Ladies... how important is a man's job to you???

I once heard that as long as the guy is passionate about what he does, that's all that matters.

Probably not totally true, right?

Besides I work at walmart so kinda hard to be passionate about that LOL

So what do you ladies think. Just curious, plus I'm bored right now

I'm a dude, but I gotta throw this out there. Its not the profession, its the income. I'm a chemical engineer. That's a pretty damn good profession to be in seeing as I never went to college, but sadly it doesn't help with the ladies since I'm still not at that $20/hr mark. Only women that are attracted by my job aren't even old enough to legally consume alcohol yet

it's not about the money, it's about the passion/reasons why one would be in the job, to support their family/because they love it/because it's a stepping stone to what they want to achieve/do they help themselves or is there a bigger more moral reason behind what they do. so yea it is something i would consider a reflection of the person. a person who just works for the status and money is a loser in my eyes.

I'm at my job for a lot of reasons. Mainly its for the benefits and higher income than normal to support my son and I and the possibility I can move around in the company, finally getting to the field I am truly passionate about (IT Department). Another thing I enjoy is not having to go to the gym; I'm in the best shape of my life and love it!

Easy solution... never tell them what you make. Live below your means and save..

If you do end up committed to one another, well then you have a nest egg.

actually interestingly i watched a tv discussion on a book called The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better. it discussed the idea that societies actually do better healthwise, stress level wise and economically and socially the more equal we are. sweden was quoted as being the most equal country. i've just ordered the book and can't wait to read it.

Being vague, flightly, and prone to abstract conversational tangents works for me... but you have to not only invest in each performance, you actually have to groom yourself towards the unknown...

which is a vague, flightly, and prone to abstraction foothold into a new life reality.

But being contrary definitely has it's benefits in this respect..
