I am a single parent. Week-ends in particular are very dull and uniteresting as my teenaged children go about their social activities and I am left with nothing much to do. I wanted to add some spark to my week-ends by going on a date. I am not sure whether this will work for me or not. Any advice?

No one ever said single parents shouldn't go out and date.

Why not? I'd think that it is very healthy to do so. It flushes that boredom, gets you someone nice to laugh, share and talk with and finally, you might hit off a spark that can lead to a more meaningful end to that relationship.

Sure, why not. Life isn't supposed to be boring. Just make sure you leave the luggage home if you know what I mean.
