Just ask her out already. You're gonna go down, so may as well be in flames and glory.

As for teaching being just a job, its not. Its also a responsibility. The best teachers know this. Grow up already.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

Not mere insight. Experience. About 20 years to yours. Both the dating and the teaching.

Older girls are hot because they are more sexual than emotional. Or so they seem

No offense, but man the fock up.

Waltz into her office and either:

    a. ask her out.

    b. politely resign and immediately ask her out.

    c. ask her out and either be immediately fired and/or taken to court for sexual intimidation in the workplace.

    d. Take her, across her desk, and then a, b and possibly c in that order.

Again, no offense...but are you a mouse or a man?

Don't listen to the Doc, he has some sort of brain disorder that makes him tell lies.

She is too old, she is used good, she is mutton and you want lamb.

My post was tongue in cheek. Would you mind fishing yours out from between my buttocks?

There's nothing wrong with an age difference. My worst marriage and best lay were to two seperate mature gals.

The distinction lies in finding one you want a relationship with, and them you. It's tricky and wholly dependent on the circumstances.

Who are you or I to tell someone to go for one or the either.

This fellow's keen on a girl.

That's all we need to know, George.

Doc man, you are sure gave me a wake up call. I thought about what your said, just ask her out right now, because it makes no difference as I don't get many chances to conversate; but my friends tell me it is still too early and girls don't like when someone pretty much randomly meets them and asks them out. After all she is older I don't know how she would react to this, she isn't some club chick who would go with anyone that asks her out. As far as I can tell from conversations I had with her, she is not a casual person.

I wouldn't want to quit now, I still need to make some money for school. Life is funny, playing games on you.

Umi, I think you misspelled your name. You are all gonads and no brains. Should be uni.

If your friends are at your age/maturity/experience level, I'd take what they say with a rather large grain of salt.
