Does anybody else feel particularly patriotic on July 4th?

Obviously this is for the Americans.

I know some people make a big hoopla about it, but I don't particularly care, not unless it was a paid holiday.

I never did. Not even when I was younger and swelling with pride. For me it's always been about fireworks and nothing more. These days it means even less. Just an extra day off.

Means nothing to me. Just a day to eat barbecued corn and chicken, hot dogs, steaks, and burgers, plus all the salads. It's a day to drink actually. To go over to someone elses house and wind up passing out on their lawn with your pants around your ankles.

I figure that a true American patriot wouldn't bother celebrating the theme of the day either. A true patriot would throw water balloons at Congress and the Senate and take those fockheads to task over a loudspeaker.

No, I don't feel particularly patriotic on the 4th of July. I don't like the symbolic style of patriotism

It just makes me think some more about the direction our country is going. The new piece of shit immigrants who come here to leech off the economic success set up by my ancestors without having the gratitude or wanting to give something back to the system that benefits them

Particularly the ones from extraordinarily shitty countries like southeast Asia or Mexico. You would think they would be more thankful to come to a country that other people worked hard to develop into an economically successful country, but instead they crap all over it

And ESPECIALLY all the people who don't have real fuccking jobs and therefore don't contribute shit to the economy / country. All these people with service type jobs these days... fucck off and stop sucking this countries tit. I know for a lot of them that's all they can do, but this country was made on agricultural, manufacturing and engineering industries. Now all these idiots are here doing service type jobs and get money they don't deserve

do you realise that if your country provided a better social system things would improve. japan is good for a reason, it's one of the most equal countries in the world alonng with sweden. they look after their own, thats the difference between the US and the rest of the world, you may be strong but how many people are struggling compared to japan and sweden ...stop spending money on useless shit...just sayin' and dagnammit wish me a happy birthday, i'm an owl one today

I hate socialism, Eco. I've been forced to live amongst it nearly half my life.

    It's disgusting and weak.

The average Japanese person is more hard working than the average American. They are extremely industrious and do not need to have social programs for the degenerates to bum off the working people. I admire the Japanese for this. They were destroyed in WW2 and rebuilt to be a fine and industrious nation. They should be proud of that

In the US, a hard worker can make more money than a person in Sweden can. If I wanted income redistribution I would move to Sweden. I don't, so I stay here. I'd rather not live where the state controlled me

Social programs can lick the shit off my taint. Equality is not natural and economically, equality is very artificial. Some people generate goods and have services that are worth more than others. Therefore, they make more money. But it's not a zero sum game. Bill Gates is rich, but in doing so he made a lot of new jobs for other people

Ask Fras how the Japanese rebuilt after the war and why they have high efficiency rates.

    As for harder working?

    That's rather subjective.

First off, WHAT the fucck makes Fras more qualified to answer that than other people? IIRC they have a longer work day than people from any other country. It doesn't take personal experience to know that

Secondly, my dad has been to Japan before when working with them on projects and knows firsthand the long hours they work. At least the engineers at the company they were working with

That's unrelated to what I said and what you quoted, you fuccking idiot. And what makes you think I don't fix my own computer or other devices?

There is a difference between a handyman and an engineer. Apparently you wouldn't know
