My ex and I have talked a few times over the last 9 months or so(since we broke up) but just as friends, and no mention on either end of getting back together. She has dated a little bit, since we broke up but not seriously(no sex, and maybe no sexual contact). She is moving in about a month. I'm always the one that starts an AIM conversation or whatever but last night something strange happened. She IMed me at about 1am and we chatted for a bit, then she says, "I want to play with you, we should play soon".

What does this mean? I know what I think it means but I'd like some other opinions. I have another problem that stems from this but I would like to get opinions on this first, and go from there.

So I guess it depends on what you want. Do you want to renew the relationship?

If yes, tell her you want her too but you'd like her to seriously consider renewing the relationship and have that discussion after you've given her time to think about it.

If no, make sure she's on the same page. If she is thinking relationship and you aren't, don't go there.

Ya know what I think is funny? That instead of replying to her IM with "what do you mean by that?", you came on here and asked us.

My guess is she wants to have some good bye sex w/you. It's easy, comfortable and has no strings attached. If you don't mind being her boytoy, go for it.

I came here an asked, because the way she worded it was too easy to deflect, and I interpreted it the same way everyone that replied did. She's fun, I didn't want to blow my chance by putting her on the spot.
