Going accross the country to see an ex?

This girl I'm seeing lives in the city, so I don't get to see her as much as I would like, but it's not bad. Nothing serious has happened yet. I wouldn't call her a girlfriend, but at the same time things are good enough for me to operate under the "look but don't touch rule". Anyway, she's traveling to Wyoming for a week to visit her high school boyfriend (who's been one of her best friends since then, and may or may not be gay), who is now a park ranger at Yellowstone. Do I have any right to be jealous at all? Cause I am for some reason. Also, what should I do when she gets back? I'm planning to go up there and do a little cooking or something, but I'm not sure.

We've gone on a few dates, and you're correct. I am developing feelings towards her, but I have yet to openly say how I feel about her.

I would be uncomfortable too since they do have a history. unfortunately, i'm not sure if you can really say something since you aren't "official" yet (are you?). Maybe this is a good sign that you want to get serious with her? Maybe you can express your feelings when she gets back. Def do something romantic for her if that's what you want i like the "cooking for her" idea.
