i think the bangs suggestion is fine as long as you say it in a sweet way at the right time. but about the glasses, can she even see without them? cause if she can't see without them you can't really ask her not to wear them lol. you could suggest to her to try contacts, but that's a much bigger more sensitive issue then the bangs.
