Ive been friends with this girl for some time, and I have never been so confused in my life, why I am on here I guess....

We've been friends for 2 years, and recently, shes been saying things like "I wish my life was a lovestory, and I wish I could find a guy that I could stay with a long time" and shes been dropping hints, both physically and while we are talking, texting, on the phone, whatever, and, I have been single for almost a month now, but I do not know if its me just looking too far into it, and I would hate to try and progress the relationship, and then have it be really awkward later on.....

I really do like her, and I want to be with her, but thats why I'm so confused, I dont know if its me just wanting to believe that shes dropping hints, and that its different now that I'm single after a year and 1/2, or if she really is...

Well ask her out on a date, no harm in that, and it'll help clear up your confusion. If she accepts and you two click really well progress from there, if she accepts and you don't click very well just stay friends, and if she rejects the date then just stay friends. But you'll never know till you atleast try to ask her out

thats the thing, we are constantly hanging out anyway, go to movies, out to dinner, whatever, but we had been doing it as strictly friends before this, and if I made a move to try and progress into a relationship, and ive just been looking too far into things, it would be very awkward and kinda weird, but I guess I'll have to take a chance with that, its not the end of the world...

Yeah, or you can try to kiss her, like walking back to her car kiss her on the forehead see hwo she reacts to it, if she likes it then the cheek, work your way to her lips
