Derrick Rose is too new to make comparisons to Rondo ...

Yea and look at the killer rookie season Rose had. I don't think it's an unfair comparison at all.
Do you think either of them will make allstar pt guard for the east though?
I think Rose will definitely make the all-star team being the standout Chicago player ...
I don't really like Rondo, but he's definitely beneficial to the Celtics' roster ... I don't see him as all-star material though ... especially with the likes of Allen, Garnett, and Pierce ...

He's improved his mid range jumper by a lot and with the boston big 3 taking double teams, that skill is invaluable. Plus he's quick as hell and for a point guard gets crazy rebounds.
He might not be all star material with Devin Harris and Jose Calderon around but he's a contender for sure. I personally like Magic and am rooting for Jameer Nelson again. lol!
Jameer Nelson just had a the year of his life and he got injured. Doubt he'll be able to return to last year's form. @topic, you really can't tell. As of now, I'm going with Rondo. But for individual talent standpoint, I'd say Rose. Let's wait a year or two to see who develops more. But Rondo as an all-star is so not out of the question. I think he'll get one or two nods before his career his over.
love is the best thing in the whole world.
So, who do you think will win this year if no one gets injured?
Lakers or Celtics? Or another team?
I think Rondo is a punk. He got into quite a few skirmishes in the playoffs because of his bad temper. Derrick Rose is, by far, the better all-around player and will continue to be so for a while.
Jameer Nelson is a beast. I can't wait to see how well he does for the Magic this year.
I don't chase, I replace.
More interesting, can Artest replace Ariza. Ariza was a much better 'play-maker' in my eyes, while Artest is a better scorer and will help take some pressure off Kobe.

I always thought the Ariza for Artest move by the Lakers was the best postseason trade made.
Artest held it down for the Rockets during playoffs after Yao got injured and no T-mac either.
I hope that the Warriors make the playoffs ... That's what I look forward to ... haha ... A bit sad, but damnit, we had our time in '07.
