Thread: Use of the Word "Single"

    How long have her and the current guy been together? You say they are dating, not bf/gf... if I'm casually dating a guy, I would still consider myself single.

    I would never use the term being single in the suburbs if I was in a relationship. I might refer to it as not being married, the younger crowd, people my age without kids, etc.

    They've been together since last spring, with a long break while she was in Mississippi.
