I'm in love with a guy who lives in a differet country. I've been in love with him for a few years now. I thought that I would have been over him by now but NO! I don't ever want to be with him because of certain issues but I'm still stuck on him. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? It's not fair! Wouldn't it be nice to switch feelings on and off?

I think you're just confused about your emotions. First of all, long distance relationships don't work.. PERIOD! WHY? Because you need to see each other and have physical intimacy. You can't have a relationship without intimacy.

It seems to me that you just haven't met anyone worthwhile who lives at least remotely close to you. Why don't you try to find someone who lives close to you. You like him probably because you can't have him and because you might be believing in the fairytale bs.

I'm sorry that I'm being harsh, but I want to get the point across to you somehow. My point is your feelings are pointless and you are causing yourself psychological harm.
