    Jealousy

My boyfriend and I have been going out for four months. Him and his ex-girlfriend are very close as they went out for three years. I don't have any problems with them being friends; I wish I was that close to my ex. But lately, I've been worried that he still may have some feelings for her. He brings her up in conversation at least once a week, and the other night he took her out for dinner and a 'romantic' movie for her twenty-first birthday. Part of me feels like there's nothing wrong with this, as it was her birthday, but the other part tells me that things like that are meant to be saved for me. We haven't been out for dinner alone with each other, and I haven't met her or any of his best friends except one. I honestly don't believe that he's cheating on me or anything like that, and I'd never ask him to not be friends with her, but is it wrong of him to take her somewhere like that? We haven't spoken properly in six days, which is a long time for us, and that makes me feel even worse.

Of course your right in feeling jelous, i can understand you want him to take you places, romantic movies/dinners, all that stuff, should be saved for you. You just really need to talk to him tell him how you feel, that you wish he'd do more with you like he does with his ex. Its cool you can trust him, that he isn't cheating, but there has to come a point when you need to say something.

I think your right and I'm going to speak to him as soon as possible. If it's making me uncomfortable it's not right...

    Wake up!!
He's doing something. What guy goes to a romantic movie with an Ex girlfriend when he's dating someone else??? Granted they are friends but that is crossing the line, and would not put up with it. Don't she have friends to take her out or even a new boyfriend that could have taken her out? I would understand if he called to wish her a happy birthday but to take he rout and leave you home....
There is something wrong there , and i think that he is just using you as the toy. He's got here with out the relationship and he got you the relationship/sex person.

I don't think he's having a relationship with her. I spend time with his family and spent weeks at a time at his house so it doesn't make sense.

I don't think he should've taken her out to something like that alone though, so I'm going to talk to him.
