I gave everything I had and got dumped after 6 years

sorry but my english are a bit rusty!
I'm a greek boy and before 3 months I was dumpt by my girlfriend after 6 years of relationship. I know we are both young, but who says that a couple cant grow up and grow old together?
We were happy together although we had some big difficulties to deal with such as disstance. So I fought with my parents and left home (17 yo) for her so that we could be together, I couldn't stand to see her crying at the time we were informed that our coleges were 500km away (that was 5 years ago)! She told me that she would commit suiside if I don't go with her!!! In addition, her parents are very strict and she could not even think to tell them that she is not going to go to colege!
Anyway, I went with her and got a job in a fabrik for 500euro per month, and we lived together without her parents to know. I was going to get a transfer for a not so good colege in the town we moved in, but that would hapen after 2 simesters. The factory was 80km away from home so I had to wake up 5am to get there on time, and came back 7pm! But as long as she was smiling I could do anything especialy for her!!! After 8 months I had to go back to my origin town to start colege because I couldn't get the transfer!! She was very sad about it but didn't cry. So for the next 4 years I traveld every friday to sunday 500km to see her and back again to work (my parents don't give me anything) and studying for colege. We had our good and bad times and I loved her so so much!!! She can buy a car only by selling the golden gifts that I gave her! I am not reach but everything I had I gave it to her!!! And I came up always with something new and exciting: trips,gifts,partys,suprises.... you name it!!! In bed everything was fantastic, I mean she got the bed sheets wet everytime, she came 2 to 3 time and I came 1, and everytime new tricks!!! I even got a scholarship for Germany and gave it up so that I could be with her!!!
And then........
After SIX years!
She cheaded and dumped me Just like that!!!
She was very jelous with her cousines (her female same aged cousine) free and sluty life, so she had to prove to her cousine that she could do anithing freely! Even go with a guy only to prove so!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway the thing is that I dont regret what I have done for her and despite my friends opinions I am going to do exactly the same and maybe more for the next girl I fall in love for.

The question is: Is there any women who deserves that much??? I can't define love with a different treatment to weamen!! I mean they are the best thing that hapend to earth!!! should I continue looking for the best , or is it in womans nature to be cruel???

I'd realy like some advice from weamen!!! I want to know how you think on this subject!!!

women in greece, are HOT.. I've slept with hot women, but greek women from greece are HOT! greek women in new york are chain-smoking cows, but greek women from greece are HOT! but it doesn't stop there! oh no! they're sexy! I've been around europe, and let me tell you, no other breed of european women knows how to work it like greek women.. they know how to dress, how to act, how to seduce, how to flirt, how to tease, how to talk, and how to be the object of your desire every moment of your life..

so? well, that means that they will make you do things you wouldn't normally do.. (example/paradigma: tell your parents to go to hell, move out of your house, and kiss a comfortable life goodbye so you can work like a dog only to be with them).. romantic? yes, very.. but also very stupid.. why?

the tragedy behind greek women is their needs.. simply said, greek women want it all.. and after they get it all.. they want more.. more clothes, more muscle on your body, more money in your account, more square-meters in your house, more more more.. (Given, i'm from Athens, Filothei & Kifisia).. maybe it's not that extreame with women in other cities or towns.. but those are greek women in a nut-shell..

what can you do? you have to look for milder versions of delusioned greek women (gynekes pou den exei parei to mialo tous poli aera).. why? because in sex, there's no big difference from one gorgeous greek girl to the next.. the only difference is in their personality.. and the best girl I ever met was one summer in Santorini.. she was a local, from there.. Gorgeous! easily an 11 on a scale of 10.. and she knew she was hot, but she was really sweet, a geniune character.. someone that would be satisfied with nothing more than a typical lifestyle and the company of their loving husband..

I should have not thrown away her number when I got back to new york.. I should have chased after her.. that's one regret i'll have for the rest of my life.. but your story isn't one of regret.. it's a life lesson.. a hard one.. but a good one.. the lesson is "learn to pick better women".. there are women who are 10's that want me, and I reject all the time.. in their place, I pick 9's or even 8's.. why? because those 10's are trouble waiting to happen.. and life is too short for me to have to deal with that kind of frustration.. same thing for you.. believe me.. you're not a typical greek guy.. I know.. because greek guys are lazy.. and that's not you.. so anyone would be lucky to have you (women that is).. and i'm sure they know it.. so reserve yourself to the women who are truly worth your time, energy, money, and love.. and leave the rest aside for people who still haven't learned their lesson..

First of all the threat to commit suicide is a sign that she's a spoiled brat and likes to manipulate people.
Gifts, parties, gold only spoiled her more (such as they will any materialistic person). She knew she had you "by the balls" and felt free to do ANYTHING she felt like doing...you gave her that freedom by showing so much weakness which you call love.
Finally, I think that what made you feel so attached and obssessed over her was nothing more nothing less than sex.
A relationship cannot be based on sex and jewelery. It has to be based on mutual respect, mutual love...the woman has to want your happiness as much as you want hers.
If you feel jealousy and insecure when in a relationship, consider that the first sign that the other person may not be into it as much as you are.
People play emotional games to manipulate the weaker party...the one that has stronger feelings.
You either feel good in a relationship or you may as well be alone.

I agree completely with the poster above. you can love someone fully, and give them gifts, but if you bow down at their feet it's only a matter of time until they walk away. Or sleep with someone, as it were.

You have to have a balance - she has to come to you sometimes, give you presents, etc...

So next time be the same guy, just hold your own a bit more.
