I mean, I guess if you have no standards then yea.

But I think it's easier to be a guy in the dating market. We don't lose our value as we get older like you do. Plus, if we're not that good looking, we got so many other ways to make up for it. But if you're a girl and you're fat/really ugly, you're pretty much ****ed.

I wanna eliminate the negative image that us accountants have but sadly the stereotype is usually true.

Us accountants don't get enough credit for what we do.

Money makes the world go round and if money was the lifeblood of businesses, then we're like white blood cells or something.. or not. k this analogy is totally failing.

hey bg, people seem to love you a lot. This thread is 17 pages long. I dont think you would have any problem getting some girl's interest if you keep doing like what you're doing now
    keep it simple

Self-esteem isn't bragging about how great you are. It's more like quietly knowing that you're worth a lot (priceless, in fact!). It's not about thinking you're perfect — because nobody is — but knowing that you're worthy of being loved and accepted.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Why didn't I go into finance ? What a lol ? I feel as though there is some force in my life constantly pulling me towards mediocracy... if I just gave up and accepted poor performance then life would be a lot easier.

I went to a college "career counselor" looking for advice on what I could do with my math major, and she said "I would focus on looking for accounting jobs."

Guess what, peeps. Math (the stuff that mathematicians do) has little if anything to do with finance and accounting.

Money is the root of some evil. Besides, in a decade, robots will replace you all anyway.

What do you expect? You went to get advice from someone with a counselling or psych degree.

I mentioned already the folks I know. One other person I forgot to mention went on to grad school on a Fulbright in Economics. If you are into that kind of thing, mbe PM MVP.

IMO, you can do pretty much whatever you want with a math degree. Its like a b-card that says "I'm smart". If you happen to be one of those rare math types that is socially integrated as well the sky's the limit. You'll probably have to do grad or professional school to get a real job, tho, unless you want to teach.
