    Help?

    Hi,

For the last two weeks, every weekend, I often pop into town and I have found myself in the same position twice in a row now. So I fill up the Golf with fuel, and I just cant help myself but smiling at the cashier, she smiles back and I don't know if its me, but I think and just hope she likes me back.

What would be the best way to approach this? I am quite the shy type but I've had my fare share of experience in the relationship department.

Can I simply giver her my number on a piece of paper along with the payment, give her a smile, walk out and hope for the best? I could use some really good advice on this situation, really don't want to mess this one up guys!

    Cheers.

Yes, and then you can go hold your breath until you turn blue, hoping she'll call. She never will.

Strike up a conversation about something. Ask her opinion about something. Be more direct.

Not so much a call, but a text? Umm, well what could I possibly say to a girl that I barely know, little help?

Oh, Jeeze. A text? Seriously? No, no, no.

TALK to her. If you don't have the balls to talk to her, leave her alone.

Had a similar situation with a cashier at a gas station myself a few weeks back. Someone I'd eye-danced with not just once or twice over a couple of weeks but 12 or 15 times over the course of several weeks, each time I pulled in to gas up.

Finally, one day as I was giving her my money, I said, "You look particularly happy today. What did you do? Fall in love?"

She blushed and smiled and got overly busy making change and said, "No. Not yet."

"Well keep an open mind. I'll be around for awhile," I replied.

Then I accepted my change with a nod and a smile and walked away, leaving in her court the ball to pick up.

    Or not.
    Speak less. Say more.

Gigabitch is right. You're gonna have to strike up a conversation with her. Keep in mind that in a way, it's this woman's job to be nice and pleasant to you. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. You won't know until you try talking to her. Something more than "Nice weather today huh?".
