    Wow FML

Today my mom called me up asking if i can pick my brother up from his pratice at about 7 but wasn't sure if i actually needed to pick him up. She calls me at 7:30 asking if i can pick him up at 8:15. I told her i couldn't (which literally is the first time in my whole life i told her i couldn't do something for her). When she called me at 7:30 she was already picking my brother up, and for some reason she chewed me out over the phone, my managers and friends could hear the convo she was so loud. Cause of all this, she kicked me out, letting me leave with nothing but the clothes on my backs and my laptop. Im at the gas station using there outlets to charge my laptop and be online...

P.S. I was hanging out at my work to go watch a movie when this all happened...

First things first, you need to find yourself a place to stay. E-mail or call friends. Don't burden them with the details of the situation, but let them know you need help.

I find it hard to believe that this is an isolated issue. Unless your mom has some history of mental illness or being abusive. To kick your child out over such a petty disagreement/misunderstanding is not something a rational mother would do. I understand her getting upset though. She had asked you to make time to do her a favor, but in the end you decided to blow her off to go and do something you wanted to do. I know it's not so cut and dry from your end, but that's how she's seeing it at the moment.

Is there some reason she felt she had to resort to kicking you out? And how old are you by the way?

And i feel as she never loved or wanted me in her life to begin with. I am a mistake child. And she new how her ex husband which was my step dad at the time treated me. He would abuse me and what not and she didn't care. Took her 15 years to divorce him...

She asked you to pick up your brother at 7:00 and you did nothing until she called you at 7:30? Did I read that right?

Tell your brother to walk or catch a bus. Kids these days are too lazy. If I had expected my Mum or Dad to pick me up from somewhere I would have been killed with a broom.

Well, I hope you have a warm place to sleep. It's really cold in NM tonight.

i also don't see a point of not picking your brother up if you had nothing to do anyways. that's awfully disrespectful of you.

I had told her i had plans. I was doing something. And its the fact she was already at his practice picking him up when she called me to pick him up... So she really got mad at me for nothing.

No she said she would call me again if she needed to pick me up. The next time she called me, she was already at his practice picking him up.
