Please help
Ok so I've been with my girlfriend for close to 2 and a half years now, untill last week when she decided she wants to be single. I'm only nearly 18 and she's nearly 17. Young to be in love I know, but this wasn't just one of those little games teenagers play. We were so in love, it was the most amazing time. We have this unbelievable connection. I didn't really believe in soul mates or anything like that untill I met her, just the fact that she exists and we were lucky enough to cross paths, it just amazes me. We were always so sure that we'd always want eachother, and not miss the excitement of being in a new relationship. But the problem is that she's the kind of girl that every guy wants, literally any guy she meets will want her. So i guess she's just got a lot of options and feels like she could be having more fun. I can understand that, don't blame her at all for it. But letting her go is the hardest thing ever, especially when she still loves me, I can tell by the way she looks at me. She says that we will get back together eventually, I don't really believe that, but she does. i don't really know what I'm wanting advice on.. but if anyone could give me some advice that might make my head a bit clearer or anything I'd really appreciate it

We've all had a little heartbreak. And I too don't believe you'll get back together. It's best to pick yourself up and keep chugging alone on that path we call life.
And on a positive note: there will be other girls... there will be lots... you're so darn young you have not a thing in the world to worry about.
To boot: do NOT sit around waiting for her to come back. Consider this goodbye forever. And remember: if you found love once, you will find it again.

That sounds like good advice, thank you
It's just that I know how people get so attached with there first love, but there's part of me that says that this isn't like that at all, and it's really hard trying to convince myself that it is.
