What do guys think about Ashley Madison?

I can think of valid reasons why a married person "cheats". Sometimes it even happens with spousal permission.

I never would have believed I could say that when I was in my 20s.

I think its absolutely disgusting. I understand why people stray, but I think you accept your risks when you make a decision like marriage, not that the risks you should be aware of beforehand entitle you to cheat on eachother.

A lot of women with fibromyalgia don't have sex with their spouse because they claim it is too painful. Women who say they have this tend to be young-ish, which means their spouses tend to be, too. I've had more than one tell me they have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy for their spouse. I wouldn't blame the spouse for doing it.

Which isn't the same thing as this. In that instance, there's no reason he couldn't be on something like adultfriendfinder. AM is for cheating, not people that have an arrangement with their SO.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. My understanding was (in at least one case) that the husband believed he was cheating, but the wife simply chose not to pursue it.

I don't think you can seek counseling when your wife has lost her sexual drive. And it often happens after having children. It's not something you can fix by talking honestly. And as far as getting divorced I don't know about that, cause sometimes there are children involved.
And the open relationship thing...........I dont see how that could work when the woman doesn't want to do anything in the first place.

So it's better to cheat on your kids mother, have them find out about it at best from kids at school (yeaah that happens) and feel shame and hatred for their own father

Open doesn't mean three ways, it means you are freed to sleep with other people without going behind her back.

Anyone who feels sex is a need might want to look at a lot of other wants that they're exaggerating. I think Ashley Madison fills a niche for scumbags. It's legit. I'm thinking of joining and pretending I have a spouse. Two wrongs do make a right as long as the second one is much worse.
