Cheaters don't have the proper maturity to function in a relationship.

She's demonstrated deception. He needs to confront it.

The fact that her admissions are in the one place she didn't figure him reading already said as much.

It's no different than a wife spending extra time going through his laundry pockets after she discovered a condom in his business shirt pocket.

I wonder how you knew they kissed? They talk about it in their logs? Or did you get it right from her mouth?

I was going to say, if you confront her about the relationship and ask her about her feelings like something's off and if she gives you the run around or shrugs it off then it's clear she doesn't respect the relationship anymore. Which was apparent with the emotional cheating.

But I guess it's a little late for that. You are taking this amazingly well. This can't be your first time.

Hopefully it doesn't hit hard later on as reality sets in.

It's ridiculous that you went to these measures to discover the potential cheating.

But, since you've gone through the trouble to do so, and when she finds out (inevitably she will.....) there will be not salvaging the relationship.

Why would he want to salvage the relationship now? She's cheating on him. And it wasn't a random slip-up, she's been planning this for months now. To hell with her.

But good luck in the future!

And also, don't let that bitch get away with this! You should GO TO HER WORK, AND CONFRONT HER!!!! ONLY if you are sure you are done with her! Would really **** up her work life!

So you've managed to do this whole thing without any confrontation of any kind. I can't say I think that's a good decision.

she'd probably stop chatting with this guy if you confront her about it. sounds like she's pretty guilty. it's messing up your relationship. it can't be easy for her to keep such a secret. maybe if she knew it wasn't such a secret she could come to her senses.

That's exactly what I did, but she just went into "care" mode, and locked herself in the guest bedroom while I packed my bags and left. It's over. I have no interest of going back to that relationship.

Sorry ice, that really sucks! I think you're doing the right thing by not wanting to go back. It's her loss and she'll have a lot of things to think about now.

I'd never told him to SALVAGE it, I was just saying there would be no sense in it.

They've both gone to extreme measures and it's good he walked away *applaud*
The fact she never mentioned anything about him to begin with, and the fact she locked herself in the room while you left speaks volumes.

The one thing to remember here is: At least he didn't marry her.
    Now he's FREE
