Confused

So my girlfriend broke up with me in Feb. ever since then we've had contact and no contact. I've been over her house almost every sunday and a few times a week. We don't talk as much on the phone. I try to keep the contact as lite as possible. She let's me come over to have sex with her. Also we smoke a little weed together. I just don't know where we're going and what we're doing. I'm scared to ask her where we're going and if we are gonna reconcile. I'm scared because it's going good right now. I'm also kinda worried that she's interested in someone else. Why would she still have sex with me if she's interested in someone else? Why does she still have me around? Should I ask her or just keep going with the flow? Why would a girl keep a former boyfriend around like this I don't understand? I just don't know what to do people and would like some advice.

You're her safety net in case her new options don't pan out. I was in a similar situation a few months back with my ex, minus the sex and weed. Be up front and ask her what's going on, and let her know you're there for her but you're not going to be her backup option. Believe me from my own experience, I know it's a difficult conversation to have but even if it leads to final separation it does feel empowering to know you are not at the mercy of her whim. You've got the power to make the decision too, you don't have to wait for her to tell you what's going on.
