It also depends on where you are. If you're in a bar and there is some uber hot woman there you have to ask yourself why she's really there. Most of them are not there to actually meet someone. They are either there to hang out with friends, get attention, or get free drinks. That isn't always the case, but it has been most of the time in my experiences. It is much easier to approach women in more everyday settings.

The best way to talk to someone you fancy is to ignore them (politely) and talk to their friend instead.

Sounds cliche, but it generally works 4 out of 5 times...for me.

They'll tend to jump into the conversation anyway... especially if you rub them the right or wrong way.

You will also realize that sometimes it is better to get shot down early than to be indulged by a woman who is only semi-interested (or only looking for some sort of attention). I try to give any guy who engages me in conversation a chance, but I find that if I keep getting one word answers (one guy kept responding with, "Oh, fo' sho'") that my eyes start to glaze over.

Ha, yeah. I think that speech like that is a tell tale sign of the person's ignorance. If you can't even fu*king speak correctly what other areas in your life do you perform in a half assed manner? I remember seeing a model online and thought that she was SO sexy. I looked up her site, which had a video. As soon as she opened her mouth I was turned off beyond belief. I think she said something like "Yeah I want to give a shout out to my niggas -whoever whoever-. Yeah I fu*ks with them, cuz......" It was horrible, absolutely horrible.
