    Clear topics please!!!!!!

    Ok..here is a complaint. On all of the LF sub-forums, i.e. Intimate, Love Advice, etc, members are putting very vague topic headings.... I wish our members would state a clear, concise TITLE so that we can opt not to read it if the topic is irrelevant (or unfamiliar) to us. This is stated in the guideline section for a reason. Examples of offending titles:

    * Please help!
    * Need advice please.
    * What to do next.
    * Need male's advice
    * Need female's advice.
    * Oh my god
    * Help I need advice.
    etc...

    while these titles trigger curiosity, they are too vague to serve any purpose at all. Can we cooperate, or am I alone?

    If it bothers you that much, just avoid threads with vague titles.

    who gives a shit.

    It clearly states that this section is for love advice etc. I didnt relaise 'clear topics' was defined as 'love advice'

    I know what he's talking about. It's that snooty publisher voice. I find it kind of irritating, too. Just liek Charlie says, it's just a forum.

    I usually ignore the threads with vague titles. They sound boring.

    Shouldn't THIS thread be in the 'Suggestion, feedback and others' forum? At any rate when new people post the title is often an afterthought. Most (myself included) join to get advice on a specific problem and put thought into the post, the title is usually only added because you physically cannot post a new thread without one. If someone is having a affair and they also find out that their person on the side is not exclusive and they think their s.o. knows it is hard to encompass all that in a short title, and often they type a seemingly vague title. I read some threads with vague titles for that very reason, and am surprised by the complexity of the situation sometimes. If it bothers you that much just go to the interesting titles, but a title is only a title and doesn't necessarily reflect what is written in the post.

    Such as the thread I made a few day ago lol. Which by the way hasnt been responded to yet. After posting it I tried to change the title to be more descriptive but it only changed it in the actual thread and not in the forum.

    I have to read through all this crap. You don't. Exercise your right to ignore threads that seem vague to you.

    haha, I've been under a bit of pressure recently.

    It does really grind my gears when people go on about those guidelines though.
