We were suppose to meet up after work on Friday but didnt tell me until last minute that she had to work late and then on Saturday she phoned me last minute before we met up for dinner saying she had to cancel. It was also about why she sent me three aggressive text messages when I was in the gym. She was wondering why I wasn't replying to her messages when I was working out in the gym for a few hours. I was really annoyed about that.

She is the 'insecure' type then.

I reckon you got the 'let's be friends' and because she was pissed at you being in the gym and not replying immediatley.

It's her way of punishing you and probably a 'test', to see how you would react to her suggestion of friends.

Best thing you could have done, was to agree to the 'friends' thing and her little test would have backfired on her.

Oh that's already been done. She called me love today however I told her that we are mates not love because we were just friends

How to proceed?

Quit talking to her.

If she really does see you as more than a friend, it will worry her that you aren't talking and she will think you are losing interest.

She won't want to lose your interest and if she secretly wants more than friends, which will prompt her into calling more and perhaps coming clean that she does want more etc.

Ok, she normally text me late afternoon however I have switched my phone off. I will switch it on later tonight and see if she's text me.

Just don't be so available to her. Throw her breadcrumbs so to speak, rather than have full conversations with her.

Dont worry. I will keep this thread up to date. My colleague at work, she's going to pretend that we both went out this evening and had a great evening together. Then im going to tell her all about a great evening tomorrow morning. I know how easy women get jealous

If you are going out with other women/saying you are, she might get impression that you aren't that interested in her or that she was mistaking your interest in her. Which may cause her to back off....maybe for good.
