When I first got married in my early 20s, I didn't want kids. I was never around babies, so I never really thought about them.
When my daughter was born, my world changed. It was the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me. I couldn't
believe how much I could love such a small creature. It was amazing. When my son was born, it was wonderful again.
I love my kids so much, and I never thought they had ANY negative impact on my life. Because of them, however,
I had to suffer through my marriage because I didn't want to break up the family. Now that I have a new woman,
and she has 2 small kids, I am aiming to form a big family. She's 38, and has expressed that she wants one more
after we get married. I think that would make us an Asian-white Brady bunch.

I really think your mind is suddenly free from the phobia of motherhood. Your change of mood could be attributed to a new love in your life, the trip certainly has a positive effect on you which i think is quite healthy for your psychological development. There is fun in being a mother especially when you watch them grow and run to you, teasing and pulling making you feel like their lives totally depend on you. Could be fun i must say, give it a shot!
